背景

Architectural Research Centers Consortium, Incは建築や建築に関するデザイン分野におけるリサーチ文化や支持インフラを拡張することを委ねられた建築的リサーチセンターの国際協会である。1976年に非営利組織として設立されて以来、ARCCは物理的環境や生活の質の向上へと一致した参加を表明している。

歴史的に見ると、しばしばリサーチプログラムのためのセンターを組織する等、建築リサーチへ大いにコミットしているARCCのメンバーは建築学校に身を置いてきた。と同時に、ARCCは多くのプロジェクト、会議、そしてより広い建築的リサーチコミュニティを抱え、産業研究所、政府機関、そしてリサーチに関わる在野の専門家たちを含む、他の諸活動を支援している。
